The Victorian era is the period of Queen Victoria's reign, from her accession in 1837 until her death in 1901. Victorian jewelry trends were directly influenced by the Queen's personal collection which included many sentimental pieces honoring her family and her beloved husband Prince Albert. She ruled for over 60 years and this time can be separated into three distinct stages: The Romantic Period, The Grand Period, and the Aesthetic Period.
